"Black Pool" (Poster - Portrait Orientation)

from $23.00

About the image:

This photo was taken at West Thumb Geyser Basin, in Yellowstone National Park. The name of the spring, “Black Pool”, is a testament to the ever changing nature of Yellowstone. When it was named, the pool was a much cooler temperature, allowing dark bacteria to grow inside of it. Since then, a series of volcanic events caused the pool to become much hotter, resulting in the amazing turquoise color that occurs when a hot spring is completely sterile.

Museum-quality posters made on thick and durable matte paper. Add a wonderful accent to your room and office with these posters that are sure to brighten any environment.

• Paper thickness: 10.3 mil
• Paper weight: 5.6 oz/y² (192 g/m²)
