“For those who can’t” has a very personal significance to Betsey and many of her close friends in the chronic illness community. During the worst of covid 19 pandemic, Betsey wrote “For those who can’t” on a small piece of paper and added the names of each friend who’s life had been claimed on the back (now 17). The paper accompanies her on all of her outdoor pursuits.
The art was created by Third Eye Makes (a disabled/chronically artist and dear friend).
